I strongly oppose the proposed rule changes in the Community Reinvestment Act (RIN 3064-AC50). This action will do harm to rural communities. : 17 years of community development in a low-income housing development project in southern West Virginia amply demonstrates the absolute necessity of preserving CRA! Do NOT CARRY OUT THIS PROPOSAL WHICH WOULD RESULT IN UNTOLD HARM TO POOR RURAL POPULATIONS. (By the way, not one of our housing applicants ever defaulted on a loan!)
