Subject: 12 CFR Part 345 comment from Lincoln Larimer Community
Development Corporation
Lincoln Larimer Community Development Corporation serves low-income
urban neighborhoods in the 12th Ward, City of Pittsburgh and has
reviewed the 12 CFR Part 345 and opposes the FDIC's proposal to allow
banks with assets above $250 million to be examined as small banks under
the Community Reinvestment Act.
This policy would reduce lending, investments and services in
low-income communities. Our neighborhoods already struggle with these
issues and feels that if these changes are made they would have a
deviastating affect on our communities.
