Compliance Training Program

Advanced Compliance Examination School (FDIC Only)

Program Overview
This instructor-led course covers the examination process for 4 specific areas:

  1. Non-traditional mortgage products;
  2. CMP's for significant Flood Insurance and HMDA violations;
  3. Fair Lending Pricing; and
  4. RESPA - Section 8


Key Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Analyze non-traditional mortgage products for compliance with the Truth-In-Lending Act and the Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices Rules;
  2. Support civil money penalty recommendations for significant violations of the flood insurance regulation and the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act;
  3. Identify significant violations and appropriate action steps when conducting fair lending pricing reviews; and
  4. Identify significant violations and appropriate action steps related to Section 8 of the Real Estate Settlement Act.

This school is a four full-day course.

All levels - Regional review examiners, Fair Lending specialists, field supervisors, field review examiners, and examiners.
