Quarterly Banking Profile

The chart depicts amounts (expressed in $Billions) of noncurrent Commercial and Industrial (C&I) loans and quarterly C&I loan net chargeoffs by FDIC-Insured commercial banks during the most recent and previous 22 quarters. A portion of each bar indicates the C&I amounts that commercial banks charged off (net of recoveries) during each quarter. The complementary portion of each bar indicates noncurrent C&I loans held by commercial banks.
