HUD Seeks Comments on Proposed Revisions to Regulation X
|
The Department of Housing and Urban Development on May 9, 1997,
proposed to modify certain sections of Regulation X, which
implements the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act. The
proposal is being issued to carry out changes to RESPA adopted by
the Congress on September 30, 1996.
The proposed changes to the Regulation will affect the following
areas:
Comments on the proposed revisions are being accepted through July
