| SUBJECT: | FFIEC Risk Management Planning Conference

| The interagency Federal Financial Institutions Examination
Council (FFIEC) has announced that it will hold a risk management
planning conference September 26 and 27, 1996, in Kansas City,
Missouri. The conference is designed to encourage top management
of financial institutions to institute systems that facilitate
bank-wide risk management. Please see the attached FFIEC press
release and application form for details about the conference.
