SUBJECT: Missing Cashier's Checks
Summary: Missing cashier's checks drawn on Downey Savings and Loan Association, F.A., Newport Beach, California, may be in circulation.

Downey Savings and Loan Association, F.A., Newport Beach, California, has contacted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to report that cashier's checks from the institution are missing.

The cashier's checks were reportedly lost in shipment. These instruments display the routing number of 322270356 for Downey Savings and Loan Association. The account number on all of the checks is 4955007749, and the check number range is 4531003001 through 4531003500. A copy of an authentic cashier's check (VOID) is attached for your review.
