Please be advised that the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was recently notified an entity is unlawfully advertising FDIC membership on its Internet Web site. The Web site is reportedly operated by Diamond Financial Trust. The Web site indicates that the main office of this institution is located in Toronto, Ontario. Specifically, the Web site includes the phrase "Member FDIC." The FDIC does not insure this entity or any products or services it may offer. The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions of Canada (OSFI) does not include Diamond Financial Trust on its list of federally regulated financial institutions. Any proposed transactions involving Diamond Financial Trust should be viewed with extreme caution. For additional information on Canadian financial institutions, you may contact OSFI at http://www.osfi-bsif.gc.ca.
