The FDIC has scheduled
four one-hour telephone seminars for bankers in July and August 2006 to
review the recent changes in deposit insurance coverage
resulting from implementation of the Federal Deposit Insurance Reform
Act of 2005. The rule changes primarily affect retirement accounts. After
the
short presentation on these rule changes, there will be a question and
answer session. This is a great opportunity to ask your deposit insurance
questions
to FDIC deposit insurance experts.
