FDIC Teleconference on Fair Lending Issues Tuesday, November 16, 2010 Audio Recording - MP3 (66 minutes/11.4m) Questions and Answers (posted January 25, 2011) Presentation Materials: The FDIC will be hosting a Fair Lending Teleconference on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Time). The two hour teleconference will discuss how the FDIC reviews institutions flagged for disparities based on the Corporation's analysis of Home Mortgage Disclosure Act data. The call will also provide assistance to bankers in identifying areas of fair lending risk within their institutions' programs and processes. The FDIC is requesting that all questions be submitted prior to the call so we can ensure that all concerns are fully addressed. Questions should be submitted to TOxley@fdic.gov. The teleconference is primarily open to FDIC supervised institutions. Bank directors, officers, and employees are welcome to attend. Participants may call in from any location and are not required to be onsite at their institutions.
Registration Information:
At the conclusion of this process, the participant should receive an RSVP e-mail confirmation, along with the PIN that is required to join the teleconference on the date selected. If an e-mail confirmation is not received, the participant should recheck the e-mail address provided and repeat the registration process. Please note that any number of bank employees may join the participant who has registered for the call.
