Assessment Rate Calculator

The purpose of this calculator is to allow institutions that are well capitalized and well managed to obtain estimates of assessment rates under the final rule approved on November 2, 2006. Actual assessment rates applied each quarter could differ from those shown as financial data and other information used to determine assessments change. The calculator does not take into account the effect of one-time assessment credits on what an institution may pay.

The FDIC's final rulemaking on assessment credits (HTML | PDF – size kb) was published on October 18, 2006.

The FDIC's final rule on risk based assessments (HTML | PDF – size kb) was approved on November 2, 2006.
