Important Update: Changes in FDIC Deposit Insurance Coverage

The FDIC deposit insurance rules have undergone a series of changes starting in the fall of 2008. As a result, certain previously published information related to FDIC insurance coverage may not reflect the current rules. Fall 2004

New Insurance Publications Available in Spanish

The FDIC's two new publications to help explain federal deposit insurance coverage are now available in Spanish. One brochure, Insuring Your Deposits (Seguro Para Sus Depůsitos), answers basic questions that individuals and families ask most frequently. The other publication, Your Insured Deposits óFDIC's Guide to Deposit Insurance Coverage (Sus Depůsitos Asegurados), is a comprehensive guide to the deposit insurance rules.
