Alliance for Economic Inclusion (AEI) Forum
Thursday, May 15, 2008
Rochester, New York

AEI is a new national initiative to establish broad-based coalitions of financial institutions, community-based organizations and other partners in targeted geographic markets across the country to bring all unbanked and underserved populations into the financial mainstream. The focus will be on expanding banking services for underserved markets (e.g., low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, minority communities and rural areas) in addition to immigrant markets, including affordable remittance products, targeted financial education programs, short-term emergency loans, alternative delivery systems and other asset-building products and programs. Rochester AEI activities will be facilitated through task-based working groups.

Registration and a Continental Breakfast will begin at 9:00 a.m. The program will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and conclude with a networking luncheon.
