Empty Nesters are concentrated in the western and southeastern counties of New
Mexico, central counties in Colorado, the eastern half of Oklahoma, and counties
scattered throughout Texas. Silver and Gold are concentrated in central counties
in New Mexico, northern and central counties in Colorado, a northeast county
in Oklahoma, and central and coastal areas of Texas. Southeast New Mexico and
central and eastern counties in Texas have high concentrations of both groups.
