This map of the United States illustrates the percentage change in the number of branches reported by insured institutions from 2010 to 2011, as of June 30, 2011. Delaware was the only state to experience the greatest increase in the number of branches—2 percent or greater. The least increase in the number of branches— -1 to -2 percent—occurred in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
