On September 8, 2006, the FDIC released a new version of our Website homepage. These changes were done as the result of user feedback and testing. The changes represent our goal of making your visit to FDIC.gov a positive and valuable experience.

The changes to the page include:

• Move "Quick Links by User" to the left side of the page: this will allow users to easily find this navigation tool.
• Move What's New and Press Releases and add more information to describe the links.
• Special Features, Subscription, and Feedback boxes: we've added some color in order to make items more accessible, to promote the use of our online subscription service, and to continue to encourage user feedback.
