The Philadelphia Financial Literacy and Security Initiative (also known as Money Smart Plus)is a collaborative effort between the FDIC, HUD, DOL Women’s Bureau, DOL Pension Benefits Security Administration, IRS, SSA, PA CareerLink (the One-Stop system in PA), HUD Neighborhood Network Center (contractor: Interstate Realty Management), and Women of War Ministries (a faith-based organization), and Beneficial Savings Bank. The Philadelphia Financial Literacy and Security Initiative was submitted for the Federal Executive Board Excellence in Government Award and won the Gold Medal for the Community Service Group Award. The collaboration received a certificate and a gold medal for the group. Pictured left to right are S.
